UA's Science, Business Programs Excel in Graduate Rankings
The Eller College of Management again was recognized by U.S. News & World Report for excellence in management information systems, appearing at No. 5, and the James E. Rogers College of Law climbed seven spots to No. 41.
The College of Engineering ranked No. 58 on the Best Engineering Schools list, with top 50 rankings for several disciplines:
- Biological/agricultural engineering: tied at No. 22
- Aerospace/aeronautical/astronautical engineering: tied at No. 27
- Industrial/manufacturing/systems engineering: tied at No. 28
- Electrical/electronic/communications engineering: No. 32
- Environmental engineering: tied at No. 36
- Civil engineering: No. 40
- Computer engineering: tied at No. 45
- Materials engineering: tied at No. 50
These rankings confirm the University of Arizona's excellence in a broad range of disciplines," said UA President Robert C. Robbins. "We're proud to see many of our graduate programs recognized as among the best in preparing future generations of researchers, scientists, leaders and citizens."
