Erin Ratcliff has been named the da Vinci Fellow for 2023. Winner of a 2019 U.S. Department of Energy "10 at 10" award, Erin is director of the $11M SPECS Energy Frontier Research Center. Her groundbreaking electrochemical work with printable electronic devices can be applied to a wide range of efforts, including hydrogen production, sustainable solar fuels, and bioelectronics/healthcare. Every year, one member of the College of Engineering faculty is selected as a da Vinci Fellow, and the awardee receives a one-time grant of $10,000. Erin intends to use the award to further her students' career development by bringing them to a prestigious conference.
