iExpo connects employers and students
Engineering Student Council hosts the largest career fair of its kind.
At the 2025 iExpo, held Feb. 6, representatives from around 50 companies seek to fill jobs and internships.
Annually, Engineering Student Council hosts iExpo, the state’s largest student-run career fair for engineers. Now in its 33rd year, iExpo connects students and employers.

ESC members plan and organize iExpo, among other events, and represent Engineering students and clubs to the college and its partners. Biomedical engineering major Kusuma Teluguntla, second from right, says she’s found community within the club: “All the ESC people I have met are super involved in the U of A community, and they care about each other. I’ve found friendships I never would have if I wasn’t in it.”
Biomedical engineering major Ashton Lambert, iExpo’s director of corporate relations, says she took the lead on planning iExpo to help fellow students secure internships like the one she has with SynCardia Systems, which makes artificial hearts and pneumatic driver systems. Lambert has been an ESC member since her first year at the U of A. “Everyone seemed very passionate and excited to be in ESC, and I wanted to be a part of that kind of leadership within the College of Engineering,” Lambert says.
